No Claim Bonus - What It Is and How to take it?

No Claim Bonus (NCB) is a discount for years by not reported the no claims to the insurance company in order to compensate for the accidents.

Allowance varies between insurers, but it can be assumed that five years NCB (no claim for payment of insurance) translates to 60% to 75% discount to 100% for new insurance.

NCB may be split up into different cars. With two or more cars, each of them 'earn' NCB separately. NCB can be transferred from one vehicle to another (eg., for example, when buying new and selling an old car) but it is always worthwhile to have confirmed the transfer paper by the insurer.
